How much did it cost me to drive across the top of Australia?

Driving across in October it was getting very hot, and the 'build-up' to the monsoon season was not too far away.
This meant that a lot of the National Parks were beginning to close due to the hot temperatures. As a result The journey across the top took a lot less time than it would have done if all the parks had been open.
The Gibb River Road was no exception.
Essentially it was too late in the season, too dry and too hot to drive that route.
So, instead I enjoyed exploring the Bungle Bungle National Park and other sights
along the alternate route. Join me here as I share images and video of
