Thinking about the time I spend exploring the Fitzgerald River National Park are happy memories. I was here in August when the ocean was very cold, but also crystal clear and home to whales and their young calves who spent their time resting near to shore. The park has quite a few high spots you can watch whales from and at Point Charles Bay / Anne Point there are walkways and whale watching platforms as well as public toilets. I also really enjoyed getting out on the water
